Not sure how I didn't realize this wasn't actually posted. I need to look at my own blog more closely!
We had a nice first 4th of July here in Albuquerque. We started off the day with a quiet morning at home, and Grace went for a little swim in the backyard.
In the evening we went to a party at the home of one of Brian's fellow surgery interns. Then we took Grace to Balloon Fiesta Park to see the firework show. She had a blast running all over the park. Here's her chilling out for a bit on the blanket.
She was a little nervous about the actual fireworks, but after some cuddles and reassurance she got into it. She was an absolute riot on the park-n-ride bus going home. She had passed her tired stage and was in hyper-mode and was making everyone on the bus laugh - she was just loving being the center of all the attention.
We did some furniture shopping Saturday and then went to an Isotopes baseball game that night. It was fun and there were going to be fireworks after the game, but we bailed early when it started to POUR during the sixth inning. They didn't start playing again until nearly 11pm, so we're glad we didn't try to stick it out.
So we had a fun holiday and were happy to get the opportunity to explore our new city a little bit!

Looks fun! Grace has the cutest smile :) And btw, how do you get your list of links to show when each of them updated last?
Thanks Sally! It's a new page element you can add to your layout. It's specifically a blog list, as opposed to the links list I was using.
